Award-winning designer and world-renowned creative producer Tamlyn Wright ’92 will return to campus to discuss her career during the keynote address of Texas Wesleyan’s University College Day 2019 on Wednesday, April 17.
Wright, a multiple-time Emmy winner, live entertainment production designer and creative producer for Silent House Productions, will speak from 10:45 a.m. – noon at Martin Hall.
Later in the day, there will be a presentation by Tony Formby, founder and owner of Fort Worth’s Acre Distilling Company. He will discuss his long history of founding and operating successful companies, including co-owning Fort Worth brewery Rahr & Sons and pioneering and developing touchscreen technology in the service industry.
Formby will speak from 5 – 7 p.m. at Lou’s Place.
University College Day (UCD) consists of presentations by students with faculty advisors on topics relating to research, class projects and other activities demonstrating collaboration and critical thinking on campus. Presentations can take the form of posters, oral presentations, panel discussion and performances. The day also includes a keynote presentation and Ram Jam that includes free food and music.
