Spotlight on Education: English Language Learner Pilot Program

Nov. 10 Topic: Bridging Academic & Social Experiences for English Language Learners, a Pilot Program Reviewed, with Dr. Lisa Dryden and Dr. Elsa Anderson.
Join us throughout the 2015-16 academic year for unique insights into the education field, starting with Wesleyan faculty presenting data from the newly implemented pilot program from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10.
The Spotlight on Education Speaker Series is an opportunity for administrators, teacher leaders, university students, professors of education and educational leaders to gain insights and perspectives on current topics in education.
About the Speaker
Dr. Lisa Dryden received her Ph.D. from Florida State University. Dr. Dryden serves as Director of the Master's of Education program at Texas Wesleyan University.
Dr. Elsa Anderson earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction and Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas. Dr. Anderson teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate course level as well as leading many study abroad programs.

Appetizers and wine will be served at each event. No cost is associated with attendance.
In lieu of ticket cost, we encourage attendees to make a donation to the Reading Clinic hosted by Texas Wesleyan School of Education.
Each summer Texas Wesleyan students work with local FWISD students to assist them in making significant improvements in their reading skills leading to a more successful and happy school experience.
