3 ways for students to be involved in the 4th Annual Wesleyan 5K

09.30.2019 | By:

The Wesleyan 5K is quickly becoming a favorite TXWES tradition and one of the best campus events of the year! Students won’t want to miss this event! It’s not just for runners, and there’s more than one way to take part.

  1. Run…or not. Whether you’re a runner or just like to stroll, any level of participation is welcomed! No matter what your athletic ability, as a participant you’ll enjoy the festive atmosphere, the t-shirt, the celebration of our campus and community and of course, the food and beer!
(Registration is only $15 for students, and if you hurry, the first 45 students to sign up are free thanks to SGA!)
  2. Volunteer. There are many jobs to fill on race day, and student volunteers are always needed. You can direct and cheer on runners, help in the kids’ area or serve in many other roles.
  3. Promote your organization at the vendor fair. Reserve a table for your student group and get the word out to other students on campus.

When you look back on your college years, this is the stuff you’ll remember. Visit txwes.edu/W5K for event details and stop by the alumni office on the 2nd floor of the Administration Building to register now!
