Thanks to the many alumni and friends that contributed to the campaign to renovate the Baker-Martin House, renovations have begun to transform the space into an Alumni hub. 

Completed Updates: 

• The sidewalk and front porch of the house have new concrete which makes for a smoother and safer walk to enter the space. 

• Outdoor landscaping has been refreshed to accentuate the historic beauty of the Baker Martin House. 

• Walls, ceilings, baseboards, and trim have been painted to rejuvenate the aesthetic. 

• The hardwood floors have been refinished to welcome new feet to the space. 

Updates to Come: 

• Carpet and tile will be added in areas that do not have the original hardwood flooring. 

• Updated appliances for the kitchen
• Decor and furniture will transform the house into the ultimate event space packed with school spirit! 

With the current progress, the Texas Wesleyan University Alumni team should move into this new space soon. Thank you to all our alumni donors who have contributed to this project.
