On Oct. 28, Texas Wesleyan welcomed an icon to campus. Ms. Opal Lee, the ‘Grandmother of Juneteenth,’ captivated the audience at the Nick and Lou Martin University Center with stories of her amazing life and her thoughts on today’s pressing issues. Her event was part of the Faye C. Goostree Symposium.
