Currently 38% of our faculty and staff give back to TXWES! Did you know that employee participation in university philanthropy is counted and used by foundations and other philanthropic organization when making decision on grants and gifts to the university?

TXWES Giving Days will be on March 6th and 7th this year and we hope to raise $50,000 for the Wesleyan Fund. We want ALL our faculty and staff to participate! So, GAME on! Whichever group has the highest participation rate for the "IAMTXWES! Giving Days 2024" wins. The participants of the winning team will be invited to a pizza party complete with Martha Earngey baked goods! And we know how much we all love Martha’s baking. (Thank you, Martha, for volunteering.)

How can I participate?  Go to our giving platform and give to the Wesleyan Fund! Any amount makes a difference!  Choose “faculty” or “staff” to make sure your gift counts for your team. If you already give to TXWES – thank you. You can still give a small amount on Giving Days to count toward the contest. The neat thing? There are no losers in this contest – we all win when donors give to TXWES! WE are TXWES!

How else can I be involved?

Of course, giving back is more than just financial, and we thank our faculty and staff for ALL you do for our university in so many different ways! Come by the tables in the Martin Center Lobby on March 6 or 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to celebrate TXWES Giving Days. 

If you give to TXWES, please wear a gold TAG sticker available at the tables or in the Advancement office on March 7, so students can say “Thank You!”. On that same day you will also see gold TAGS around campus for TAG (Thank A Giver) Day! Encourage your students to participate by taking and posting selfies with these TAGS. And, no, you don't have to be a student to take a selfie and say "thank you." Please post any giving days or TAG Day photos to #txwestagday or #ramsgive.
