The Facilities team is pleased to announce that Jimmy Gresham has been named director of facilities. In his role, Gresham will direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of buildings, housekeeping and grounds maintenance, and assist with renovation and new construction projects.
“We are very excited to bring Jimmy on board,” Brian Franks, executive director of facilities development and operations, said. “His background in higher education facilities and experience in commercial construction will be a huge asset to Texas Wesleyan as we continue to our major campus improvement projects to enhance the university.”
Prior to joining Texas Wesleyan, Gresham served as senior associate director of facilities services for Mountain View College. Gresham joined Mountain View College in 2009 after nine years of managing over $250 million in commercial construction projects.
During his tenure with Mountain View College, Gresham also oversaw all aspects of Facility, Operations, Maintenance, Custodial, Grounds and Receiving departments. He developed sustainable practices including reduction of electricity, gas and water usage.
Jimmy attended the University of North Texas where he received his bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree. He also is a LEED GA certified professional and a graduate of the APPA Institute for Facilities Management.
