Open Educational Resources Workshop

This workshop will take place virtually via Teams on April 28 and 29.

Open Educational Resources (OER) are low or no-cost instructional materials that faculty can adopt in lieu of, or in addition to, traditional textbooks with benefits for students and instructors.

At the end of this presentation, you will be able to:

  • Define Open Educational Resources
  • Explain the benefits of adopting OER
  • Know where to find OER
  • Discuss OER initiatives on campus 

All faculty and staff are invited to attend this workshop with Marquel Anteola. This presentation will be offered via Teams twice in April:

  • 2-3 p.m. on April 28
  • 12:15-1:15 p.m. on April 29

It will be offered again in Fall 2021, with follow-up presentations on OER Adoption, and OER Adaption & Open Pedagogy.
