Football is just around the corner, and Texas Wesleyan will start its season with one of the most exciting games in its history on Aug. 27 at Farrington Field.
Texas Wesleyan will take on Arkansas State University — Campus Querétaro (ASUCQ) for the Global Clasico game, brought to you by National Bank of Texas at Fort Worth (NBT). This event will not only host this international team, spectators and fans, but also give Texas Wesleyan the opportunity to celebrate our Hispanic community right here in Fort Worth.
This fun-filled evening will kick off at 5 p.m. with a concert in the Ram Zone hosted by the Texas Wesleyan Ram Club. The Ram Zone will feature giveaways and visits from the Ram Band, Willie the Ram mascot, cheerleaders and the Gold Line Dance Team. Fans will also have the opportunity to hype up the Rams as they make their way to the field during the Ram Walk 15 minutes before kickoff. Tickets for the Global Clasico and other TXWES football games are now available online through Go Fan but can also be purchased on game days in the east ticket booth at Farrington Field.
For discounted rates on game day, TXWES faculty and students must have their current ID present to obtain the rate.
