Texas Wesleyan honors its Stars of Service
Texas Wesleyan honored faculty and staff who have dedicated “milestone years of service” to the campus community at the 2019 Stars of Service event on May 13 at Lou’s Place.
The ceremony included a testimonial from a student recognizing the impact faculty and staff have on his education experience, and words from Joe “Pro Joe” Brown, dean of freshman success, who was honored for his 40 years of service to Texas Wesleyan.
Professor Ibrahim Salih was honored for a remarkable 50 years of service to Texas Wesleyan. Family, friends and former students were on hand to honor him as he now looks forward to retirement.
