The next SGA president could be a transfer student

10.15.2013 | By:

Texas Wesleyan’s small and welcoming campus makes it easy to get involved and make the most of your collegiate experience. You might be the next campus leader. Last year, our Student Government Association (SGA) president was a transfer student. Other SGA members also transferred to Texas Wesleyan from another college.

We have plenty of organizations and clubs from which to choose:

  • Academics
  • Greek
  • Religious
  • Social

Volunteering is a great way to get involved

At Texas Wesleyan, students have the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom through volunteer projects. Volunteering gives students a chance to make a difference in the community by helping others.

Previous volunteer projects have included the Adopt-a-School Program and working with Kiwanis International.

Transferring to Texas Wesleyan

Many of our transfer students come from Tarrant County College. Because of our close relationship with TCC, most class credits will be honored at Texas Wesleyan.

If you’re transferring from another college, you can view our equivalency guides online or check with a counselor to see if all of your credits will transfer. We have agreements in place with many area community colleges, and we’re happy to work with you one-on-one to answer your questions.
