Before she visited Texas Wesleyan, Joy knew our campus was one of the hidden gems of Fort Worth. She'd seen the billboards and knew about our small-school philosophy, but she wasn't convinced we were the right fit for her until her official visit.

What sealed the deal for Joy? Seeing "Smaller. Smarter." in action.

Visiting campus turned the small-school concept from a phrase on a billboard into an experience that made her feel cared about by the faculty and staff.

"The counselors, the professors — everyone — really implemented that small is better," said Joy. "When you see that in real time, it seals the deal for you because you see that they really do care."
