Campus Improvement Update: Locker rooms get a makeover
Texas Wesleyan athletes returned to campus this semester to find newly renovated locker rooms.
During the winter break, crews painted ceilings, walls and lockers, and upgraded electrical and lighting features in both the men's and women's locker rooms. Last summer, new skid-resistant flooring was installed.
The women's locker room also received new plumbing, shower heads and valves.
Brian Franks, executive director of facilities operations and development, said that the facilities team plans to replace the doors leading into the locker rooms this summer.
Campus improvement projects to enhance university facilities and grounds are part of Texas Wesleyan's 2020 Strategic Vision.
