Donna Nance named VP for Finance & Administration

Texas Wesleyan has named Donna S. Nance its new Vice President for Finance & Administration.

Texas Wesleyan has named Donna S. Nance its new Vice President for Finance & Administration. Nance will begin her role in January 2016.

Donna has 20 years of experience in higher education finance, administration and accreditation, including senior leadership at three colleges and universities. These roles include Vice President for Financial Affairs and Chief Financial Officer at Southern Nazarene University and Vice President for Business and Finance at Oklahoma City Community College.

“Nance was the strongest candidate in a very competitive, nationwide search,” President Frederick G. Slabach said. “Her financial leadership and expertise will allow Texas Wesleyan to continue to grow and thrive. We are very excited to welcome Donna to our executive team.”

Nance previously served as CFO for Oklahoma City University, a sister United Methodist institution. In these roles, she has provided leadership in academic facilities renovations, residential construction, technology projects, campus security upgrades, human resources, risk management, auxiliary services, and enhanced budget transparency.

Nance has a master’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma City University, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Hope College in Holland, Mich.
