In a landmark decision for Fort Worth ISD, Dr. Karen Molinar has been named the new superintendent of Fort Worth ISD. This appointment also marks a historic moment for Texas Wesleyan, as Molinar ’23 becomes the first TXWES graduate to lead the district. 

Molinar's nearly three decades of experience within Fort Worth ISD have provided her with invaluable insights into the district's unique needs. Serving as a teacher, principal and administrator, she has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the district's students and educators. This extensive experience within the district itself is a key factor in her appointment, demonstrating her commitment to the Fort Worth community. 

Her journey also includes an Ed.D. from Texas Wesleyan University. Molinar's progression through the ranks of Fort Worth ISD, from teacher to superintendent, combined with her advanced studies at Texas Wesleyan, emphasizing her commitment to professional growth and her pursuit of excellence in education.
