Celebrate reading at West Library's activity-filled event
In celebration of reading, West Library invites you to join them from 1-4 p.m. on Jan. 12, 2014 for an activity-filled day in coordination with the Fort Worth Library.
There will be gaming, a flip book booth, Dr. Deaton and his Triceratops horridus, a magic show, marionettes, beginning genealogy class, crafts and more.
The celebration is in honor of Worth Reading, a reading program that was started this year in the Fort Worth community and lasts 365 days a year. Mayor Betsy Price and President Frederick G. Slabach will be announcing the grand prize winners for the fall chapter of the program.
Join for games (Xbox, PlayStation and Wii,) adult and kids crafts and get to know what the Fort Worth Library can do for you.
Whether you are a student moving into the dorms, looking for something to do with your family, or just want to have fun and get free snacks there is something for you. The event is for all ages. Wesleyan librarians are volunteering to work the event in coordination with Fort Worth Library volunteers.
