United Way Campaign a Success
Thanks to Wesleyan faculty and staff for making the 2014 United Way campaign a great success!
Participation increased by more than 22 percent with 25 new contributors this year. Additionally, we met our donation goal to increase the University's gift by 10 percent compared to 2013.
We could not have done this with out your help.
A significant proportion of these funds will go to assist programs here in the Poly community where many of our students, faculty and staff volunteer, perform service hours or work. Wesleyan's gift makes a statement about our support of the United Way and the Polytechnic community.
At the celebration on Friday, March 21, drawings were held for prizes. Dr. Carlos Martinez won the coveted lunch with President Slabach.
Other winners included Dr. Mary Ann Clark, Dr. Joe Dryden, Dr. Kalpana Pai, Dr. Paul Austin and Dr. Tom Smith.
