Stephanie M. Scott named director of digital marketing & strategy
Texas Wesleyan University has selected Stephanie M. Scott (now, Stephanie Hynes) as its Director of Digital Marketing & Strategy.
As director, Scott will lead the implementation of an integrated digital marketing strategy for the web that will align with the University’s integrated marketing goals. She will focus on a conversion-first digital strategy on all projects, while using best practice tactics for success. In addition, Scott will create a focus on strong analytic reporting, optimization and continual assessment.
"Stephanie’s experience in the digital marketing arena is exceptional," John Veilleux, vice president for marketing and communications, said. "In today's marketing arena, it's important to have a strong sense of how to not only communicate online with our prospective students and other audiences, but how to better attract students in the digital realm, and Stephanie brings those skills to her position.

Scott has a strong background in digital marketing, strategy and project management. She spent the last three years at {algo+rhythm} working in a hybrid-role of account management, project management and digital strategy. {algo+rhythm} is a digital design and marketing agency that specializes in user experience design, development, digital strategy and content solutions for some of today’s most respected brands.
In her previous role, Scott managed numerous projects across various clients, while guiding the work of internal and external teams to implement effective design, development and digital strategy. Digital strategy includes content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), email marketing and social media marketing.
Scott is a graduate of Texas Christian University with majors in advertising/public relations and English.
