Yeehaw! Wesleyan students ride in All-Western Parade
Big crowds were cheering for the blue-and-gold in downtown Fort Worth on Saturday, Jan. 17.
The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo All-Western Parade, which features all livestock and people (no motorized vehicles allowed), kicked off the beginning of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo season.
Willie the Ram, student government leaders and cheerleaders rode in a horse-drawn carriage with the fitting banner, "Being herded is for cattle, not students."
The first stock show in Fort Worth took place in 1896, just six years after Texas Wesleyan was founded.
