The brand new Texas Wesleyan athletic weight room is now open to all athletic programs. The space was recently converted from a dining area to an athletic facility to make room for the growing number of student athletes on campus.
“We’re really excited for our athletes to have a state of the art place to lift weights and do it together as a team,” Athletic Director Steve Trachier, said. “Our athletic programs have had a lot of success in recent years. We’re excited to see what they’ll do next.”
Every athletic program will have access to all the equipment including assorted dumbbells, abs benches and other free weights for exercises like bench press, squats, arms curls and more. Each sport will schedule time to workout as a team.
