Free Salsa Dance Lessons (Oct. 3)
12:30-1:30 p.m. in Martin Hall

Stress Relief with Art (Oct. 3)

Take a break and unwind through the soothing act of creating art. Join Spiritual Life and choose from a variety of painting, coloring and drawing materials at your disposal to help you tap into your creative side. As a bonus, a free lunch is served for you to enjoy while you explore your artistic talents.
Lake Worth High School Mariachi Performance (Oct. 5)
Noon-1 p.m. at the Stepp Amphitheatre (right outside the Martin Center)
Come enjoy the tunes of mariachi music during a performance from Mariachi Esmeralda from Lake Worth High School. Grab your lunch from Gina's and enjoy this outdoor performance.
Raid of the Rainbow Lounge: A Look at Fort Worth LGBTQ+ History with Todd Camp (Oct. 5)
6-9 p.m. at Lou’s Place
Join us in collaboration with Student Diversity and Inclusion Programs and the TXWES Gay-Straight Alliance for an enlightening docu-screening of "Raid of the Rainbow Lounge." Following the screening, we are privileged to have Todd Camp, a former journalist from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram who was present on the night of the raid and plays a pivotal role in the documentary, share his firsthand experiences and insights.
Carne Asada (Oct. 13)
4-6 p.m. at the Stella Fire Pit
While Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month may be ending, our enthusiasm continues! Students are invited to join in a festive BBQ hosted by the Latinx Student Association and Student Diversity and Inclusion Programs at the Stella Fire Pit. This gathering promises a delectable spread of food, refreshing beverages, lively music and a whole lot of enjoyment, ensuring that the spirit of celebration persists beyond the month's end.
Homecoming Block Party (Oct. 18)
6-8 p.m. at the Kay Granger Mall
Get ready to celebrate our Rams with a homecoming block party! This event, held just a few days before the homecoming game, will kick off festivities. Enjoy free food, giveaways, games, music and more.
Homecoming Dance (Oct. 20)

11:30 a.m. - Tailgating Party
Pregame the football game at our tailgate! We’ll have food, games and more before you enter the stadium. This event is family-friendly, so bring your whole gang to join in on the fun.
2 p.m. - Football Game
Put on your TXWES gear and come cheer on the Rams as they take on Wayland Baptist at the Crowley ISD Multi-purpose Stadium.
DiversiTea (Oct. 25)
2:30-4:30 p.m. in Martin Center 280
Savor a relaxing cup of tea and some light refreshments as you engage in meaningful networking with professionals. This event is an excellent opportunity to gain insights into the importance of diversity in the workforce. Hear from the Queer Professionals Network of Fort Worth with an enlightening panel and one-on-one conversations in an informal setting, making this a rich and informative networking opportunity.
