Learn ways to be a more commanding and authentic leader. Join the School of Business for the 5th annual Women in Leadership Forum from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19 in Andrews Hall of the new Martin Center.
Keynote speaker Rena Cook will present on this year’s theme “Voices in Leadership.” Cook is a professor emerita at the University of Oklahoma, TEDx speaker, author, voice, speech, confidence and presentation coach. She is the founder of Vocal Authority, a training consultancy serving corporate clients – politicians, attorneys, entrepreneurs, CEOs and sales personnel. She is the author of Empower Your Voice: For Women in Business, Politics and Life; Voice and the Young Actor and, coming soon, Her Voice in Law.
Cook also holds an MA in voice studies from London’s Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and an MFA in directing from OU. Rena’s guilty pleasure is voicing video games and animation. For more information, check out her website.
