On Tuesday, Sept. 23, Texas Wesleyan's Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) hosted the Door of Acceptance event on the campus mall. Standing at nearly 12 feet tall, the door physically represented the GSA's mission to spread and encourage campus-wide acceptance.

One-by-one, students, faculty and staff pledged acceptance by signing the door and it's supporting frame, then passed through the door while taking photos. 

The event was a huge success, and the GSA has plenty of opportunities to continue showing acceptance during the month of October, which is LGBT History Month.
