In this workshop at 12:15 p.m. on Sept. 22, Dr. Chris Parker will talk about the practice of concept mapping as a way to better understand course materials. This technique is especially useful for classes in which a large number of topics and concepts are covered in a single semester. Attendees will leave this workshop with a better understanding of how our brains store and connect concepts, and why we sometimes just don't get it.
