Social Sciences recognize outstanding students
On the evening of Wednesday, March 30 — after a hiatus of two years due to the pandemic — the disciplines that make up the Social Sciences hosted an in-person induction ceremony to initiate worthy students into the honor societies associated with the various disciplines that comprise the Social Sciences. The reception was attended by Social Science faculty, student inductees, family and friends.
Because of their outstanding academic achievement across the disciplines of Criminal Justice, Economics, History, Paralegal Studies, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology, 37 students were inducted.
In addition, 13 transfer students were recognized for their outstanding academic achievement at the university by being inducted into Texas Wesleyan’s transfer student honor society, Tau Sigma.
