Urge your students to explore art, poetry in creative course this fall
Advise your students to join Ms. DeeAnn Day and Ms. Kit Hall on a creative journey this fall. From Aristotle, to William Blake, to Bob Dylan and Cowboy Poetry, students are going to enjoy learning about the creative process.
Art and Poetry: A Journey of Connections (WSP 2301-01) will include not only museum visits but students will be writing poetry and creating visual art individually and collaboratively.
It is not often students have an opportunity to tip their toe in the pool of creativity. This introduction to two vibrant methods of personal expression will allow students to see the world in a whole new way.
Any student with a 3.5 GPA is eligible for the class, and it will count as a fine arts credit for GEC purposes.
