Texas Wesleyan University will host a symposium titled, "Climate Science is the Answer, but What are the Questions?" on Friday, Aug. 1.  Topics to be covered include:

• How is life on land and in the oceans impacted by climate change?
• What strategies may be employed to face challenges of climate change?
• How are a warming Earth and increased greenhouse gases related?

The symposium is designed to enable community college faculty to incorporate climate-change science concepts into their classrooms using the ACS Climate Science Toolkit. Registration is open to the public and can be completed online; registration deadline is July 25.  For more information, please contact Dr. Landolt.
