Texas Wesleyan History major Jessica Leigh-Anna Jackson has been awarded a Book Scholarship for the upcoming academic year from the Mary Isham Keith Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Jessia will be a senior during the 2017/2018 academic year and is seeking a Secondary Certification. The award was presented by Linda Johnson, Chair of the chapter's Scholarship Committee.

The May Isham Keith Chapter awards the scholarship each year to an outstanding female History student who plans to enter the teaching field.
