On Saturday, March 25, five history students and two faculty represented Texas Wesleyan at the 2023 North Central Texas Phi Alpha Theta Regional Meeting held at Tarleton State University in Fort Worth. The conference hosted undergraduate and graduate students, each presenting their research and responding to audience questions. The lunch keynote address, "Cigarettes, Chocolate, and Misappropriation: The GI as Supplier for the Black Market in Postwar Germany," was delivered by Dr. Micheal Fasulo, Federal Contract Historian, Pentagon.

Texas Wesleyan student Clara Friedlander was awarded one of the conference's three "best paper" awards in the undergraduate research paper category!
Dr. Brenda Matthews and Dr. Chris Ohan accompanied the students and chaired sessions at the conference.
