History students from HIS 3322 (Texas History) and HIS 4320 (Memory, Storytelling, and Oral History) classes showcased research projects at the 2018 University College Day.  

Thirteen students in Dr. Brenda Matthew's Texas History course displayed topical posters in the West Library.  Two students, Katherine Kalnins and Bridget Rivera, received Best Poster awards.

Four students from Dr. Christopher Ohan's Memory, Storytelling, and Oral History course—Andrea Upadhya, Christopher Cambell, Samantha Cazares, and Lane Kelly—presented "Duty, Defense, and Death: Stories from the Front," which was based on findings from topical history interviews conducted with individuals who had participated in or experienced war.
