The Friends of Wesleyan Music Chamber Series is a new program funded in part by our donors, who not only give back financially, but want to give back musically to an institution and community they love.

The Texas Wesleyan Department of Music has stood as a premiere institution of musical learning since the University's founding 125 years ago and to that end has brought in premiere performers to delight listeners from all walks of life.

In its inaugural season, The Friends of Wesleyan Music Chamber Series will feature three premiere groups from the Dallas-Fort Worth area and abroad. Tickets are $10, except to students with valid ID.

The Minetti Quartet has been a "rising star" of the ECHO (European Concert Hall Organisation) since the 2008-09 season. Since then the quartet has played in, among other venues, London's Wigmore Hall, the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the Palau de la Música in Barcelona, the Konserthuset Stockholm, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, the Cologne Philharmonie, the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, the Salzburg Mozarteum and Vienna's Konzerthaus and Musikverein.

The Minetti Quartet is also a welcome guest at various leading chamber music festivals including the Schubertiade Schwarzenberg, Aldeburgh, Aix-en-Provence, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (north-east Germany) and Kuhmo (Finland). In addition to appearances in the big European cultural centres it has undertaken concert tours to North, Central and South America and to Australia, Japan and China.
