Drapery study drawings in charcoal by students enrolled in beginning drawing
The first half of the semester of Beginning Drawing involves teaching students the important skills they will then utilize the last half of the semester to create original works of art.
This project is one of skill development, teaching the students how to analyze light and the values it creates as it moves over the surface of an object — in this case drapery. The drawings are by Wesleyan freshmen Ulysses Cervantes and Enriqueta Hernandez.
