TXWES students, faculty, staff and alumni had an amazing time showing our Ram pride at this year's Michelada Festival in downtown Fort Worth. Our booth crew was starstruck to meet Fort Worth Police Department's Hispanic Community Liaison Officer and viral sensation, Daniel Segura, who played our cornhole game and sank four bags—winning the coveted 135th anniversary commemorative Texas Wesleyan University thermal beverage holder. 

Officer Segura is not just an ace at cornhole and a hometown favorite—he's also married to beloved Telemundo 39 anchor Nancy Leal, whose coverage of local events like the Fiestas Patrias parade and the Michelada Festival helps spotlight the rich cultural fabric of Fort Worth.
