Spanish students reap the fruit of their labor on Awards Day

Congratulations to Spanish with Secondary Certification major Ana Ruiz and Spanish major Jessica Espinoza for receiving the Premio Excelencia and Premio Afán awards, respectively. "The dedication and motivation exhibited by these remarkable students fills me with admiration," said Dr. Amy Bell, program director of Spanish.
 
The Premio Excelencia is awarded to a senior-level Spanish major who has excelled in all the upper-level Spanish classes they have taken. The Premio Afán is given to sophomore- or junior-level Spanish major in recognition of their diligence and high achievement in upper-level Spanish classes.
