Theatre Playmarket Reading

Theatre Wesleyan is pleased to present a reading of a new student-written play as part of the department's long-running Playmarket series. The play is currently a "work in progress" and will be further developed for a presentation at 2pm and 7pm on Sunday, December 9 at the Thad Smotherman Theatre in the Law Sone Fine Arts building.
About the Playwright
Ryan Simon is a sophomore theatre major. Theatre Wesleyan credits include: The Hostage (Kate/Musical Direction & New Arrangements/Piano Accompaniment), Tartuffe (Cléante), Oklahoma! (Ensemble), Important Hats of the Twentieth Century (Billy/Various Characters), and Spring Awakening (Moritz). Ryan is a member of Alpha Psi Omega and will appear in Theatre Wesleyan’s upcoming production of Smokefall.
Connie Whitt-Lambert, professor of theatre, will direct.
Admission will be FREE for both presentations of the reading at 2pm and 7pm.
