Texas Wesleyan University, the Fort Worth Business Press and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce that Edward P. Bass, chairman of Fine Line Group, has been selected as the 2019 Fort Worth Business Executive of the Year.
Bass will be honored at the 50th annual Fort Worth Business Hall of Fame event at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Dickies Arena.
“Ed Bass is a visionary business leader who has made and continues to make outstanding contributions to the cultural and economic development of Fort Worth,” Texas Wesleyan University President Frederick G. Slabach said. “His business sense, coupled with his commitment to the city’s overall prosperity, makes him most deserving of this prestigious award. It is indeed our honor to recognize Ed for his many contributions to our community and to celebrate his accomplishments at this year’s 50th anniversary of the Business Hall of Fame.”

About the Fort Worth Business Hall of Fame
For 50 years, Texas Wesleyan, the Fort Worth Business Press and the Fort Worth Chamber have joined forces to present the Business Executive of the Year, which promotes business as a challenging and dynamic profession. Last year's recipient was John C. Goff, chairman and CEO of Crescent Real Estate Holdings and President of Goff Capital, Inc.
The event supports the Thomas H. Law Scholarship program, which benefits business students at Texas Wesleyan University.
