You never know where the next big business idea will come from. Yours could even become a gamechanger. Come be inspired during the third annual Global Entrepreneurship Week Fort Worth from Nov. 16 – 20. Registration is open now and is free.
Being held virtually, GEW Fort Worth aims to inspire attendees through activities designed to help people explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. Many events will highlight existing entrepreneurs and their path to entrepreneurial success. Texas Wesleyan co-founded GEW Fort Worth, along with The University of North Texas Health Science Center and is partnering with the Dallas Entrepreneurship Center for the 2020 event.
This year’s themes include:
- Entrepreneurship 101 — Discovering resources and events to successfully plan, launch and grow businesses of all stages
- Main Street North Texas — Celebrating local entrepreneurship by shining the spotlight on startups and small businesses in our own backyards
- Emerging tech/Innovation — Exploring the stories, impact and economic effects of current and emerging innovations
- Inclusion — Highlighting the work startup championships are doing around the world to minimize barriers and obstacles for entrepreneurs regardless of their background
- Funding — Discovering the many different ways to fund a business, including equity, loans, grants and innovative new products
