Marketing student advances on to Microsoft Office U.S. National Championship
Kealani Villiarimo, a sophomore majoring in marketing, will be participating in the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) U.S. National Championship. The MOS U.S. National Championship is a competition that tests students’ skills on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Top students from each state are invited to participate.
Kealani received the highest score on the MOS Excel 2013 Certification exam in the state of Texas out of the 1,868 entries. As a result, she was invited to compete at the national championship in Orlando, Florida. The competition will take place June 17-19.
The top three winners at the national competition take home monetary prizes, but the 1st place winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to compete at the MOS World Championship in New York City.
We wish Kealani good luck and look forward to hearing about her experience.
