Wesleyan Enactus Team is headed back to nationals
The Texas Wesleyan University Enactus team has just returned from the regional competition in Dallas, Texas where they were chosen among several schools to advance to the USA National Expo on May 20-22 in Kansas City, KS.
Through three major projects, the team was able to uphold their values as Enactus Texas Wesleyan members.
- The Degree project was built around focusing on the wants and needs of non-traditional students
- Inspired Readers had a goal to empower kids to read and have them explore possible future careers
- EnterprenHER focused on empowering women entrepreneurs in our community.
This year's presentation team was led by juniors George Battersby, Johnathan McNamee, Jacob Chesney and Alexander Howley.
Among their competitors the University of Houston, Texas State University, Oklahoma Baptist University, Drury University and Tuskegee University.
