Information for Spring 2014 Robing, Hooding and Commencement
As we approach Robing, Hooding and Commencement, there are a few important details faculty members need to know prior to the ceremonies.
Please read the following information carefully. If faculty have any questions or concerns regarding these ceremonies, please contact Ashly Spencer, Executive Academic Administrator in the Provost Office at 817-531-4472 or aspencer@txwes.edu.
Robing Convocation
All faculty are welcome to come to the robing ceremony, but only faculty who have agreed to robe a student are expected and required to be in attendance. Tickets are not required for faculty members.
When and where:
11 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014
Nicholas Martin Hall
1309 Wesleyan Street
Fort Worth, Texas 76105
Faculty will line up at 10:15 a.m. at McFadden outside the Science Lecture Theatre (SLT), and the processional will leave at 10:45 a.m.
Please wear all academic regalia except mortar boards and tams.
Hooding Convocation

Please arrive at 9:15 a.m. to prepare for lineup. This is a large venue, and we will have to move our lines a great distance, so it is very important to be on time.
All academic regalia is required for Commencement.
Commencement tickets are now available in the Provost Office and are required for the ceremony.
Please remember 5.1.2 of the Faculty Handbook.
Parking Information and Map
There are two parking lots directly behind the chapel. Parking is also available behind the Riley Center (next to the Chapel). There will be a sign leading you to the entrance as well as student volunteers.
