Michael Greer has been appointed Senior Director of Academic Advising and Student Success.

In her new role, which began April 1, Greer will provide oversight to both the Academic Success Center and Academic Advising.

“In combining the two directors’ positions into one, we will be able to ensure appropriate integration and oversight of two critical service areas,” Associate Provost Helena Bussell, Ph.D., said. “Michael has proven herself to be a very dedicated, integral and hard-working staff member. She will continue to play a particularly important role in the implementation of the Student Success Collaborative.”

Greer also serves on the Retention Committee and will continue to be an important participant in the deliberations and decisions of that committee. Greer has been at Texas Wesleyan for more than eight years.
