The Office of the Provost to host retirement reception for faculty members
The Office of the Provost will be hosting a reception from 2:30–4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, in the Baker Building to celebrate the retirement of three faculty members: Dr. Thomas Smith, Dr. Elizabeth "Betsy" Alexander and Dr. Peter Colley. Each will be greatly missed by students, faculty and staff alike. We hope that you will join us to honor their years of service to the University and bid them farewell.
Thomas Smith, Ph.D., Professor of Marketing and Communication, has been with the University for 27 years.
Elizabeth "Betsy" Alexander, Ph.D., Professor of History and A.M. Pate Professor of Early American History, has been with the University for 19 years.
Peter Colley, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Art, has been with the University for 19 years.
