The hour-long Hooding Ceremony is a vital part of the concluding activities of every Texas Wesleyan student’s undergraduate career. The ceremony expresses the warm and interdependent relationship between our faculty and students. 

Students

• 2:15 p.m. — arrive in the McFadden Science Lecture Theater
• You will be placed in order and receive final instructions
• Bring your robe and hood

Please note: Caps and cords are not needed for hooding. Please leave personal items such as bags and purses with family, at home, or in your car.

Faculty

• Arrive in the hallway of the McFadden Science Center in regalia (no cap) by: 2:15 p.m. for Hooding
