What is I.M.P.A.C.T. Faculty?

I.M.P.A.C.T. Faculty (Innovative Methods for Practice and Community Teaching) is a dedicated group of TXWes educators committed to integrating service learning with academic instruction to foster meaningful connections between students and the community. Through creative and innovative teaching methods, I.M.P.A.C.T. Faculty focuses on developing service-learning opportunities that engage students in real-world practice while addressing community needs. The goal is to enhance both student learning outcomes and the university’s contribution to local communities, promoting civic responsibility, critical thinking, and practical skills in a dynamic learning environment.
