The Office of University Advancement is hosting a farewell party for Christian Garcia Wommack ’12 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14 in the Nick and Lou Martin University Center, Andrews Hall Room A. All are welcome to stop by anytime.

Christian will be joining the Alumni Relations Department at the University of Texas at Arlington. Her last day at Texas Wesleyan will be Friday, Sept. 16.

Christian graduated from Texas Wesleyan in 2012 and has worked in the Alumni Relations Office since 2015, becoming the director in 2020. She has been the driving force behind Alumni Relations’ creative programming over the past few years. In addition to Alumni Relations activities, Christian has directed some of the University’s biggest events over the past few years, including the ribbon-cutting for the Nick and Lou Martin University Center and the recent groundbreaking for phases one and two of the new Karen Cramer Stadium. Christian is leaving Alumni Relations in a positive state for future growth and we are thankful for her time at Texas Wesleyan!
