The Office of Marketing & Communications is excited to welcome Candice Soto to the team as the marketing project manager. Soto will serve as the main point of contact for managing all projects coming to the marketing team from various departments.

Candice started her journey at TXWES as the Bernice Coulter Templeton Gallery Assistant where she assisted with all aspects of exhibitions, including collateral design, event photography, content creation, artist management and social media management. She later joined the West Library as the circulation desk assistant where she assisted with maintaining the workflow/SIRSI records system, patron inquiries and training and supervising student workers.

“I am incredibly excited to be a part of this dynamic team,” said Soto. “There is so much exciting growth and change happening at TXWES, and this position allows me to expand my institutional knowledge alongside every department I work with.”

When Candice is not at TXWES, she is spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys camping, fishing and taking trips with her husband James and their dog Dozer. Her family and friends are important to her, and she enjoys being in their company, whether it's a big social gathering or just a quiet night watching movies.
