Among the crowd to witness Texas Wesleyan football’s homecoming weekend win was Bob Francis, editor of the Fort Worth Business Press.
His latest piece touts TXWES’ award-winning marketing campaign, while describing the experience at Farrington Field firsthand.
“As comedian, actor and writer Steve Martin once said, ‘Let’s get small,’” Francis wrote. “Texas Wesleyan University has taken that as a mantra with a great marketing campaign that touts the small size of the school – and the teacher-student ratio.”
Francis also had high praise for Cheer and the Gold Line Dancers.
“The cheer squad did some routines that were pretty impressive. Nothing like the simple stuff I saw in my high school days,” Francis wrote.
