Paula Tran has joined the Office of Marketing and Communications as the senior graphic designer & brand manager.

In her role, Tran will design and produce strategic marketing and advertising for the university, including digital and print. She will also assist the marketing & communications team in promoting the strong TXWES brand to the university community.

“With only a few days on the job, Paula has picked up the 'Smaller. Smarter' brand identity and owned it,” Shannon Lamberson, associate vice president of marketing and communications, said. “Paula’s years of experience designing and expertise in branding is going to take our already award-winning brand to the next level. We’re excited to see her brand vision come to life.”

Tran has nearly 10 years of experience as a designer, and comes to Texas Wesleyan from PepWear, Inc., where she was the lead graphic designer for their marketing department. At PepWear, she developed cutting-edge marketing designs and elevated the company's brand identity – resulting in better and bigger brand exposure. She also worked as a graphics specialist at Tarrant County College where she worked with all levels of administration in creating and designing marketing publications for campus and districtwide events. Tran earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.

When Paula isn't at work, she's at the gym, spending time with family, exploring DFW with her husband or playing with their pomeranian, Taro.
