Mike Zamora joined Texas Wesleyan in late March and is responsible for providing overall leadership and strategic direction for facilities and campus safety.

In his role as chief safety officer he is working to coordinate, facilitate and effectively manage the University’s response to emergencies and safety concerns, which includes emergency and disaster preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation efforts.
Zamora is an experienced practitioner in construction with more than 15 years of experience in the industry. He has served in all roles in the construction process, including trade contractor (electrical), general contractor, facilities engineer, owner’s representative and third party consultant.
Zamora is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Construction Management Association of America. He currently serves on the board of the Construction Management Association of America – North Texas Chapter (CMIT / Education Committee).
Zamora holds a Bachelor of Science from Sam Houston State University in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Construction Management and is currently working toward a Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University.
