New scholarship award unveiled

At 3 p.m., President Slabach will unveil the Jan Fersing Freshman Success Scholarship Award which will be presented each spring starting in 2017 at Texas Wesleyan Awards Day. The Award will be presented to an outstanding male and an outstanding female freshman, based on scholastic ability and campus involvement and contributions. The plaque representing the Award and its recipients will reside in the Fersing Freshman Success Center in Room 106 of the Oneal-Sells Administration Building at Texas Wesleyan University following this unveiling.

No gifts, please. However, cards will make him smile.
